On Monday, School board chair Lynn Edmonds hosted the February BAC meeting at Vernone Malone College and Career Academy. - Prioritize Recommendations
- Visitor Management – making this consistent across schools.
- Single Resource Officer (SRO) leadership committee
- District Emergency Plan, which should be ready for 2023-24 school year
- Professional development plan – right now general training is available; however, we need to develop specialized training for roles, for example, front office, teacher
- Mental health threat assessments – again needs to be consistent
- Reunification plan – if there is an incident, how parents are reunited with their students

- An explicit commitment to equity in both pillars throughout each priority
- A priority on student well-being and behavior health
- A focus on Operational effectiveness
- Jan - Mar: Dr Robinson’s team is gathering feedback (like the brainstorming session in this meeting) to prioritize work.
- Apr: A report of action steps and goals will be presented to the school board.
- Spring - Summer: Begin implementation
