I know Mr. Propst will send home his own introduction letter, but here are a few things that I know. Mr. Propst and his family are returning to North Carolina from Ohio. Mr. Propst grew up in Morganton and has family here.
During the interview, one of the things that struck me about him was his high energy and his willingness to do just about anything to motivate our kids.... For example, in the past he's been willing to have his head shaved and silly stringed.
Mr. Propst's first day is tomorrow. However, he will be in orientation in the morning, so Mrs. Hargrove has promised to be at the school in the morning. (Today was Mrs. Hargrove's last day.)
I have arranged a parent meet-and-greet with Mr. Propst on Thursday at 4:15. I hope you can stop by. I'll also speak to Mr. Propst about attending our PTA meeting next Tuesday at 6:30. If he can attend, I will let you know.
