This is it! Another school year comes to a close this week. I hope this has been a great year for your family. I am completely blown away at how many things we got done this year at Swift Creek. Thank you so much to EVERYONE for volunteering your time, energy, and money to make this year spectacular. We did this together!
We desperately need 2 clean 2 Liter bottles for Field Day on Friday. If you have any, please label them Field Day and send them to the front office.
Key reminders:
- Turn in your library books to Mrs. Wils ASAP.
- 4th graders, turn in your recorders to Ms. Sutton by Wednesday.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful summer. Follow us on Facebook for updates on the school garden and plans for next year: https://www.facebook.com/swiftcreekespta/
Thanks,
Marie Dexter

Mrs. Smith Is Coming to Visit
Our new assistant principal, Mrs. Smith, will be at the school Tuesday morning for a visit. Her first official day at the Creek is August 1. Stop by and say Hello!
Thursday: 5th Grade Graduation and Talent Show
Thursday is a busy day with 5th grade graduation at 9:30 and then High Fives and Good Vibes on the field immediately after the ceremony.
- This is a special day for our 5th grade families. We'd like the 5th grade moms and dads to have a chance to relax and enjoy the day. We are asking parents from other grade levels to help with setup, during the event, and during take down. Can you help? https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e094eafae2ca64-help
- Then at 2:00pm, we will have the 5th grade Talent Show. Parents are welcome to attend.
- School Picnic from 5-7pm
- Thank you to everyone who RSVP'ed. It looks like we will have a big turnout on Thursday.
- Everyone is welcome to attend this event. It is not part of the 5th grade graduation. Food is limited though. We will have turkey and ham sandwiches, chips, water, and popsicles. You are welcome to bring your own family picnic and join us as well.
- Music will be provided by DJ Burkhalter, who did the music for the Father / Daughter Dance.
- Please make sure to sign in when you arrive! The sign up sheet will be at the food table.
Friday: Field Day!
Ms Graves has lots of fun (and several WET) activities planned for Field Day on Friday. You might want to send your child with a change of clothes and a towel.
Parents, popsicles and water will be provided for each class, so you don't need to provide that for your class.
We will have two sessions (one in the morning for the younger grades and one in the afternoon for the older grades). We have about 12-11 stations for each session so we need LOTS of help. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e094eafae2ca64-field
