SCES families, during this time of COVID, many of us are using more resources at home than we normally would. Where possible, the SCES Recycling Committee encourages you to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse (kindly refuse what you might not need), and let Rot (also known as compost!), AND to have conversations with your students about these topics!

Curbside Recycling
After seeing a plastic bag poking out of a recycling cart recently, I wanted to share some quick tips and helpful resources, as recycling “rules” have changed somewhat (or are more streamlined). Most of these come directly from Recycle More, Recycle Right NC, via the NC Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service. Links are also below.
