As many of you know, Swift Creek is scheduled to get a new building in the next few years. However, because of the recent deficit in funds from the state, this rebuild could be pushed out farther in the future than we hoped. The Nov 6 ballot includes a Wake County school bond, which will not exceed $548M. This bond includes money for school renovations. Because of the direct impact this bond could have on our community, the Swift Creek PTA supports the passage of this bond referendum.

On Nov 6, polling places will be open from 6:30am – 7:30pm. Wake County Schools are opening on a two-hour delay (which means that at Swift Creek school starts at 11:15am. The carpool line opens at 10:45.).
