Meeting DatesApril 2023 at Middle Creek Elementary School wHAT is A bac?The Wake County Board of Education Policy 2231 (available at wcpss.net, click on Board of Education, then Board Policies) provides for Board Advisory Councils (BAC). Each of the 9 school districts must have an advisory council made up of Principals, Parent Representatives, and at-large members. They meet at least 4 times a year with the district board member as outlined in the policy.
Each school has administrative and parent representation. The parent representative is selected by school administration and can serve for 3 years. The current BAC District 5 representative for Swift Creek is Marie Dexter. Archives |
