Sometimes as I put these newsletters together, I wonder how much they get read. I know you guys tell me that you read them, but you could be just polite.
Thank you to EVERYONE who caught the date errors in the Mark Your Calendars section last week. You will find that this week's section makes a lot of more sense. I wish I could tell you that you found the magic Easter egg and won a prize, but it was a very BAD copy and paste error. :-)
Hope your week gets off to a great start! We'd love to have you join us at our PTA meeting on Tuesday. We are making an amendment to the budget, so we need AT LEAST 20 people in attendance (in person or online)!

You can also attend virtually at http://tinyurl.com/scesPTAMeet
Here is our agenda:
- Presentation from 5th grade
- Budget updates -- including a vote to increase the budget amount for 5th grade t-shirts. For the past couple of years, the PTA has purchased a Class of 20XY shirt for every 5th grader. Due to increased costs this year, the expensive was over the amount we originally allocated in the budget. This vote will be to approve (or not) the increase in budget expense. We need AT LEAST 20 people in attendance for this vote. Please help us by attending the meeting either in person or virtually.
- Committee Updates
- Principal's Report
Weekly Wellness: Eat a Rainbow
Happy New Year Everyone! I am sure we all indulged in some yummy goodies and sweets as we celebrated the holidays.
As we start a new year, let’s start it off right with reminding our children the importance of eating nutritious and balanced meals.
One simple way to help them remember to eat nutritious meals is to remind them to always EAT A RAINBOW!
