Today, we reached our $20,000 fundraising goal for the Swift Creek Fun Run. Thank you to all of our sponsors (parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends). And thank you to all of the students who worked so hard to collect these donations.
The PTA will continue to accept donations throughout the year. If you have outstanding donations, please turn that money in as soon as possible. To qualify for prizes, the Fun Run donations for a student must be turned in by Wed, October 22. We will still be collecting donations after Oct 22, but that money will not factor into prizes awarded. A student must raise $40 to be entered into the Grand Prize drawings, but the more money a student raises, the more entries the student has.
We are still about $6000 short of our goal. We need your help to raise the $20,000 we need.
Due to the possibility of endless rain on Wednesday, the Fun Run has been moved to Thursday, October 16. Of course, you can still turn in your sponsor sheets and donations on Wednesday though. ;-)
