Reminder: Tomorrow is the deadline for Original Works orders. You should have received these in your child's Tuesday folder over the past week. You can order your child's art on key chains, magnets, t-shirts, and more. These are great gifts.
If you have questions, contact Natasha Kirby at [email protected]. This week in the Positivity Project, the kids are learning about Bravery.
Definition: You act with mental, moral, or physical strength even when you know things are difficult or scary. Why It Matters: Overcoming fears is critically important in individual development, as it allows the person to do more and become more. A person can be brave every single day. On a group level, bravery is inspiring and contagious. Witnessing an individual’s brave act – whether a soldier in battle or standing up for a bullied student – is a form of leadership and often encourages others to take action. #otherPeopleMatter Wow! We did it! We exceeded our fundraising goal and raised $21,000! Thank you to all the families who donated time and money, to the staff for their constant support, and especially to Kim Partin who organized the entire event.
Here is what is coming up this week: * Monday - Turn in your Box Tops. The Box Top fairy will be making her rounds for October. Help us get a BIG fall check! * Tuesday -- Teacher Work Day.
