Happy birthday to first grade teacher, Ms. Cillian! May your day be filled with Stuart Little - like adventures.
Need a good book to read?
Mrs. Harris recommends Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. "It was about a lady who knew how to cure children of common childhood "diseases" like tattling, not picking up toys, going to bed late, etc. and it was very easy to related to as a child."
This one might be even more fun for the parent than the kid! At least it has made me chuckle a bunch.
Mrs. Wils (Media Center Specialist) recommends reading "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH."
"I loved the movie (The Secrets of NIMH) so much growing up, and I didn't like to read when I was younger! But then I had a great 5th grade teacher who had a reading incentive program, and I soon found myself reading anything and everything within reach!"
Can you imagine Mrs. Wils not loving to read? Now, she inspires and ignites the reading passion in our kids every day! Thank you, Mrs. Wils!
