The Healthy Lifestyles Committee has organized a 3 week themed Yoga Series for grades K - 3. We will focus on the introduction to basic Yoga and the importance of strength, flexibility, and breath. Each week will introduce a new theme and new ways to play, breathe, and move.
We encourage all students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade to sign up for this fun series!

This is an optional program and a great way to give back to the school while preserving your child’s artwork on a keepsake. Packets were sent home a few weeks ago.
To participate:
Have your child complete a piece of artwork on the white paper provided. Review artwork guidelines in your packet.
Complete order form in the Original Works packet.
Submit order form and payment in the plastic sleeve and return to the school.

Advanced Run Club is open to 4th and 5th grade students and will run for 4 weeks. Each week, students will focus on running skills, endurance, stretching, and overall encouragement of staying active and making healthy lifestyle choices.

THANK YOU SWIFT CREEK! The Fun Run raised $23,953.75 for our school! Thank you to everyone who donated. Since we met our $19,000 goal, the school will get to have an interactive experience with “Dancing Drum” on Friday, November 3rd.
The Fun Run event was a great success! Thank you to all the volunteers and the parents who came out to cheer on their students and assist the Fun Run Team! We appreciate you!!!
We will be rolling out the incentives for funds raised in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!

Additionally, this event requires some help from parent volunteers to judge our projects. If you are available during the morning of the 16th and would like to help judge, send us a email and we'll send you sign-up!
Family Night at the fair will coincide with STEAM night on Thursday, November 16th. The Book Fair Committee would love new members and the fair is full of volunteer opportunities. It is such a fun event and a great way to get involved.
Also the Yearbook Committee is looking for more volunteers to join the committee. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

You will help with upkeep of the gardens of Swift Creek to help keep our school looking beautiful and our green learning spaces in good condition, assist in teaching children about the importance of growing food and good gardening methods, and creating tasty treats curated by goods grown on campus.
