Thank you for all you are doing to support your child during this time of virtual learning. I have heard from many of you how challenging it is and how draining, but your support has been outstanding! If you have any questions or issues, please contact your child's teacher. He or she might have ideas to help things go more smoothly.
We know this is hard. Remember to take care of yourself! If you need anything (even if it is just to vent), please know that your executive board is here to listen and help!
We will continue to #ROARtoSoar together!
Have a good week,
Marie, Deb, Sarah, Dana, and Lauren
Positivity Project: Curiosity
This week in the Positivity Project, students will be learning about the character strength: Curiosity.
What It Means
You like exploration and discovery. You ask lots of questions because you want to learn more about anything and everything.
Why It Matters
Individuals with the character strength of curiosity are more
likely to ask questions and try new things. Curiosity then is
a form of courage. Asking questions exposes the fact that
we don’t know and trying a new activity means we might
fail.
On a group level, curiosity is crucial in making discoveries
that bring important benefits. For example, exotic plants
may yield new medicines and ancient artifacts may
illuminate astonishing pieces of human history.
