Here are my key takeaways:
- Four new schools are opening this year -- Southeast Raleigh ES, Parkside ES, Alston Ridge MS, and Green Level High.
- To relieve overcrowding at Yates Mill, a neighborhood in that base area will transfer to Swift Creek.
- The application schools available to Swift Creek families will depend on your geographic location. Depending on your location, you will be able to choose from Adams, Oak Grove, or Timber Drive ES.
- Adams ES families will no longer have Swift Creek as an option for an application school.
- The upcoming renovation for Swift Creek will increase our capacity.
- The application schools for Dillard Drive Middle will be Lufkin or Garner (depending on your location). East Cary and West Lake will be removed as application schools.
