We celebrate our 100th day of school this week. (I think it is Thursday or Friday.) That means only 80 days left to the school year. Hard to believe. In Tuesday folders this week, you should see order forms for the yearbook and ways that you can help keep our yearbook costs low by sponsoring a page. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Have a great week!

The Positivity Project: Fairness
This week in the Positivity Project the students will be learning about Fairness.
What it Means:
You believe that all people have value. You
approach situations with an unbiased
mindset and treat everyone with respect.
Why It Matters:
For individuals, cultivating the character strength of
fairness is correlated with highly desirable developmental
outcomes. It helps people to become trustworthy friends,
responsible citizens, and generally moral people.
Fairness is also essential for the good of the group. As
individuals develop the capacity for moral reason they
often find a strengthening of: the aptitude for self-reflection;
self-awareness and self-confidence; and perspective taking
(i.e. the ability to “put themselves in another’s shoes”).
It is School Special Services Appreciation Week
The PTA is celebrating Ms. Chadwick (counselor), Ms. Lewis (psychologist), Ms. Wallace (social worker), Ms. Sanchez (occupational therapist), and Ms. Zawistowski (nurse). The PTA will provide goodies for these ladies next week.
Please take a moment to thank these ladies for all they do at Swift Creek.
