Happy Thursday! The week is half over and that means there are only 2 days until the big Swift Creek 90th anniversary party on Saturday.
Let's kick off the excitement with this heartwarming video created by our very own Lauren Nicholls.

- Swifty's Story, where you and your child can walk through Swifty's story together and see the student submissions from last spring.

- in the gym, many of our alumni will be gathering to share their stories. Come tour one of the old locker rooms. Boy, those showers were TINY!!!
Books for Sale
To commemorate the 90th anniversary and Swifty's 50th birthday, two books will be for sale at the event.
- You can read Swifty's Story with your child and then if you like, purchase a copy of the book for $15. This book will be in the Swifty's Story area.
- In addition, a scrapbook giving a brief history of Swift Creek will be on sale for $25. You can check this out in Memory Lane.
Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Swift Creek PTA.
We have limited copies on hand during the event (cash or check preferred), but you can also place an order if you are interested.
Interested in Helping?
If you are interested in helping on the day of the event (Saturday, Sept 24), we could use folks to help set up, man tables, and for cleaning up. If you are interested in either of these activities, please contact Marie Dexter at [email protected].
Do you have a camcorder that we could borrow? In the gym, Swift Creek alumni will be gathering and sharing their memories of the Creek. We'd like to capture this oral history, if at all possible. If you have a camcorder that we could borrow, please let us know. Thanks!
