I don't know how many people said last week felt like the longest week ever. Hopefully, this week will fly by as we get back into our normal routines.
Thank you to everyone who came to Swift Creek night at BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant on Thursday. It was great to see so many families there! We will have another Family Night on Oct 25 at McDonald's in Crossroads.
Have a fantastic week!

Fun Run Update
With so many of our neighbors and communities in need after Hurricane Florence, it is so difficult to think about fundraising efforts at our own school. The school is currently investigating ways that we can help schools in our eastern communities, so stay tuned!
The Fun Run is still planned for Oct 12, and we are hoping to raise $17,000 to pay for the various programs (staff assistance and appreciation, cultural arts performances, school clubs) that the PTA sponsors.
We have currently raised $2600. Any donation that you can give is greatly appreciated. You can send the donation with your child or if you want to collect online donations, you can through The Get Movin' Crew website.
For more information, see Cougar Fun Run 2018.
